
EAE Business School Barcelona and the Barcelona Finance Hub launch three programs on financial innovation
- In the first term, the School will launch programs on: Agile Management & Lean for Complex Financial Projects; Fintech Innovations: Blockchain & Crypto; and Ethical Innovation and Sustainability in Finance
EAE Business School Barcelona, which belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades, has launched three programs on financial innovation in collaboration with the Barcelona Finance Hub by Aticco (BFH). BFH’s mission is to bring together companies and professionals in the financial sector, including entrepreneurs, startups, scaleups, SMEs and corporations with the aim of boosting innovation in what has long been seen as a traditional sector.
These training programs run by EAE Business School Barcelona and the Barcelona Finance Hub focus on adapting to an environment as changeable as the financial sector, which is steadily evolving towards Fintech, as well as improving the efficiency and competitiveness of companies, and minimizing risk through far more precise market analysis.
“Faced with the full scale of the emergence of crowdlending platforms and decentralized systems, traditional financial systems are not always resilient. Within this new landscape, our partnership with the Barcelona Finance Hub brings together two complementary sets of know-how to offer a practical and contemporary for today’s professionals”, explains Fernando Sifuentes, the Director of the Corporate Department at EAE Business School Barcelona.

AGILE MANAGEMENT, FINTECH AND ETHICAL INNOVATION
The programs focus on three key areas: strategy and leadership, technology and entrepreneurship. In the first term, the School will launch programs on: Agile & Lean Management for Complex Financial Projects, designed to optimize management by applying agile and lean practices; Fintech Innovations: Blockchain & Crypto, to enable participants to apply the latest innovations in Fintech, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and other key technological advances; and Ethical Innovation and Sustainability in Finance, to gain insight on new purpose-driven organizational management models, such as Teal, Triple Bottom Line Leadership and Conscious Leadership.
The courses will be run in a hybrid format over a four-months period, with a weekly on-site session at the offices of class at the Barcelona Finance Hub, at the heart of Barcelona’s financial district.
In March, the School will launch the courses on Digital Leadership: Change Management in Finance; Global Fintech Growth; and the Fintech Revolution: Digital Transformation. In October 2025, students have the option of taking the programs on: Big Data Analytics for Financial Insights; Emerging Markets Leadership; and Green Finance Ventures.
One unique feature that sets these programs apart is the exclusive access all students get on the programs get as members of the BFH. Thanks to this agreement, the students have access to all the services, contents and events offered by the Barcelona Finance Hub, with the opportunity to take part in networking events for the financial sector, connect with leading professionals and companies in the sector, and make use of Aticco’s recently refurbished coworking centre at the Barcelona Stock Exchange.
