EAE Barcelona sets the course for the digital future at the MWC - 4YFN and Talent Arena

Thursday 13h February 2025 - EAE Business School Barcelona, which belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades, will drive the debate on employability, entrepreneurship and digital transformation at the Talent Arena, the Mobile World Capital and 4YFN, consolidating our status as a key player at the events that make Barcelona the global epicentre of innovation from 3rd to 6th March. 

Our participation on these three stages, which bring together industry leaders and experts in digitization and talent from all over the world, reaffirms EAE Barcelona’s key role and commitment to actively generating an impact on the innovative business ecosystem of the city of Barcelona.

Under the slogan “Where Business Education meets Innovation”, EAE Barcelona strives to create synergies between leaders of the most innovative industry and the new generations of professionals. For four days, Barcelona will become the global epicentre of innovation, employability and technology, and EAE Barcelona will play a key role on this stage..

Participation in Talent Arena, Mobile World Congress and 4YFN25

To achieve this goal, at 4YFN, students from EAE Barcelona will take part in the Babson Challenge, hoping to become one of the entrepreneurs chosen to participate in a residential program at Babson College, the world’s leading school in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. Students from EAE Barcelona’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub will present their business ideas at Demo Day. Moreover, the Director of the Master in Big Data, Gustavo Ramírez, will also take part in the session “Broken Data, Broken Decisions”.

In addition, at the Mobile World Congress, EAE Barcelona will also take part in a round table panel entitled “The impact of AI on the education and employability of the future”, with Fernando Sifuentes, the Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub, who will be accompanied by Jordi Marín, the Director the Applied AI Innovation Centre of Planeta Formación y Universidades; from EAE Business School Barcelona; Gonzalo Romero, the Director of Education at Google in Spain; and Cesar Martín Lara, a Partner at Deloitte. The Director of the Master in Sustainability, Isabel Gustresa, will also chair a round table on sustainability on the main stage of the MWC.

In the Talent Arena, EAE alumni Julia Kestelman, RPO Talent Partner at Winid Spain; Héctor Hormigo, Chief Sales Officer at Würth Modyf Spain, and Dali Ben-Jamaa, Financial Engineer, Startup Advisor and Investor, will share their success stories, highlight the importance of training and networking, in a conversation with EAE Barcelona’s Alumni Director, Elisenda Molina.

The talent fair will also feature the Skill Navigator, an innovative system designed to personalize the range of academic programs on offer according to students’ capacities, profile and professional preferences. Based on standards such as ESCO, it uses data science and applied artificial intelligence to create customized programs based on standard contents. This strategic tool helps students search for professional opportunities.
