Rosa Tous, Corporate Vice-President of Tous, patron of the graduating class of EAE Business School Barcelona
The graduation ceremony will take place on 29th May at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona
The Corporate Vice-President of Tous, Rosa Tous, will be the patron of the graduating class of students of EAE Business School Barcelona, which belongs to Planeta Formación y Universidades. In total, over 3,000 students will finish their studies in 2024, graduating from the School’s different Master and undergraduate programs, in a grand event to be held at the Palau Sant Jordi Stadium in Barcelona on 29th May.
The event will be hosted by the newscaster from LaSexta Noticias, Helena Resano, and the journalist from Onda Cero, Carlos Lamelo, with more than 6,000 attendees taking part, including students and their families.
ROSA TOUS, CORPORATE VICE-PRESIDENT OF TOUS
Rosa Tous Oriol is a gemologist and jeweller by professional. She studied at the Gemological Institute of America in Los Angeles (California) and took the Senior Management Program at IESE. Tous joined her family company in the 1990s, at a time when the brand was beginning to expand internationally. She created the Marketing and Communication Department and also oversaw the development of the Training Department.
Rosa has been the Corporate Vice-President since 2013 and, in 2022, she also took on the role of Reach and Relevance Officer. In this capacity, she oversees all the different corporate facets of the organization as a spokeswoman for the brand at internal and external events, building relationships and bonds that help boost the company’s growth and consolidation. She is a member of the company’s Board of Directors and is also committed to promoting sustainability within the brand in her role on the Sustainability and Leadership Committee. She also plays a key role in strategic projects such as Tous School and Tous Heritage, both of which focus on preserving the craft of jewellery.
Reflecting her commitment to the craft and society in general, Rosa Tous is a member of various associations. She is the Second Vice-President of the JORGC, the official association of jewellers, goldsmiths, watchmakers and gemologists of Catalonia. Moreover, she has also been a Member of the Board of the Círculo Fortuny since 2016; a Board Member of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum since 2019; President of the ANDEMA, since March 2017; Member and active participant of the IEF, the Spanish family company institute; and a Patron of the Arcoíris Foundation.
As the Corporate Vice-President of Tous, Rosa has received several accolades on behalf of the company and her family. For instance, she was named as the Entrepreneur of the Year by EY in 2016 alongside her three sisters. She also received the ELLE Woman Award in recognition of her successful career in 2022. She ranks among the top 100 female leaders in Spain in 2023 and 2024 and, this year, Fearless Magazine called her a Top Businesswoman. She received all the accolades in recognition of her contribution to the family company, which has specialized in the jewellery industry since 1920 and operates in over 40 countries, with a network of 600 stores and more than 4,000 partners around the world.
