Ramón Abella, the new President of Alumni EAE Business School
Ramón Abella, the Director of Intersafe Iberia and graduate of EAE Business School, has been appointed as the new President of Alumni EAE, a network that strives to build and strengthen links beyond the classroom among the more than 80,000 former students from over 100 countries who have studied at the business school since 1958.
Abella took the Master in Commercial and Sales Management at EAE Business School and is taking over the reins from Nuria Guix. The new President will continue working to achieve the goals of Alumni EAE: helping former students to keep their knowledge and professional competencies constantly updated, supporting their professional career development with advice and guidance, fostering opportunities for networking by organized events, conferences and forums, and promoting EAE talent throughout the business community.
“I embrace this new challenge with great excitement, as I am very grateful to EAE Business School and I am really keen to work to keep improving the quality of the services that the Alumni department offers, as well as continuing to enhance the internationalization of our activity”, explained the new President of Alumni EAE.
Abella boasts a long and consolidated professional career spanning more than 20 years, leading business development projects in the company Lyreco, as well as over 10 years’ experience managing corporate sales team in the same company.
Alumni EAE is the business school’s network that gives former students access to five key service areas to cater for their academic and professional interests: professional development, lifelong learning, knowledge, networking and E-Club. The association also publishes its own magazine, Talent Alumni Review, and organizes the Annual Alumni Reunion, an event that brings together the community of former students, stimulating reflection and discussion, presenting the most cutting-edge and original business initiatives and creating a space for networking where our former students can share experiences and strengthen personal and professional relationships.
