MBA students from EAE Barcelona take part in the Sustainability Sprint by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners
Within the framework of the welcome activities for our new MBA students, with the aim of boosting their knowledge through real projects that generate a social impact, EAE got them to take part in the Sustainability Sprint by Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, a challenge focusing on the creation of initiatives related to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
With the support of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Joaquim Edo, the Director of Communication, and Víctor Herrero, the Head of Communication and External Relations, gave our students an overview of Coca-Cola’s sustainability strategy and the importance of generating a positive impact on society.
Inspired by the Design Sprint methodology, the challenge focused on resolving problems and testing ideas, with speed of detection and resolution being the key to the process. Through this methodology developed by Google Ventures, over the course of 4 days, the different teams worked on various proposals to present in the final challenge.
On the first couple of days, the students defined realistic goals by brainstorming ideas, identifying the users who would test the solution. In the last two days, they built a prototype and tested it with the target market.
AND THE WINNERS ARE…
“Join Up and Come Back!”: The aim of this project is to take action against climate change, involving the community and finding areas for improvement that enhance sustainability. The students analysed the HXEC platform to detect aspects that could be improved, thereby enabling them to reach more customers, with an ecosystem that involves boxes, incentive caps, the development of an app and website integration.
The students on the winning team were Angie Meishi Su, Ana María Sandoval, Marisol Armendariz, Clemente Noemi, Jose Domingo Perez, Carlos Hernandez and Artur Ventura.
Congratulations to the participants! We look forward to seeing you on the next challenge.
