Students from more than 37 countries start the new academic year at EAE Business School Barcelona

The new students starting their programs in the 2024-25 academic year enjoyed a week full of exciting activities in the Welcome Week for the April 2024 intake at EAE Business School Barcelona.

Over the course of the Welcome Week, the new students discovered all the wonders on offer when you study and live in the city of Barcelona. They took part in a guided tour of the Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, build by the renowned architect Antoni Gaudí. The students has the opportunity to explore the building’s famous attic to learn fascinating details about its design and gain insight into the inspiration for creating this iconic landmark which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site,

The tour ended in the hall where the Welcome Event took place, with a few words from the Dean of EAE Business School Barcelona, Enric Ordeix. Moreover, they had the chance to meet more than 400 other students from over 37 countries who have just begun the new academic year on the campus of EAE Business School Barcelona.

In this intake, 30% of the students come from Europe, 56% come from South America, and the remaining 14% from North America, Asia and Africa. The Master in Marketing, Communication and Sales is the most popular program this semester, followed the MBAs and Business Management programs.

To bring the event to a close, refreshments were served, giving the students the chance to network and meet their new classmates and lecturers, who are sure to become very familiar faces over the course of this new stage they have embarked on together.
