EAE Business School Barcelona partners with the Barcelona Finance Hub by Aticco to boost knowledge and innovation in finance

EAE Business School Barcelona is partnering with Barcelona Finance Hub to boost knowledge and innovation in the world of finance. The contract to run the Barcelona Finance Hub was awarded to Aticco by the Catalan Government in December last year and it will be based in the iconic Barcelona Stock Exchange building on Passeig de Gràcia with the aim of becoming the city’s financial hub.

One of the key points of the agreement is that training programs will be run to prepare professionals to tackle the future challenges in the sector and raise the standard of financial talent. To this end, they will be equipped with tools, emerging technologies and cutting-edge methodologies in order to enhance their analytical capacity and leadership, align their knowledge with the real needs of financial companies and boost their employability.

This partnership will also foster research in the field of finance to drive innovation and the development of the sector with the creation of a Research Observatory. The combination of academic resources and support from sector experts will enable the creation of a robust research system. The Observatory will explore and analyse emerging trends, challenges and opportunities in order to generate insights that can be applied to improve financial and business practices.

For entrepreneurial profiles, the hub will develop an optimal ecosystem for creating new companies and innovative projects with a network of contacts, tools to ensure the viability and success of the projects, and the collaboration of professionals, ranging from investors to experts, thereby maximizing the opportunities for growth.
